Africa and her Safaris

Hello friends

Okay, we’ve been talking about destinations; we’ve been to Mauritius, Maldives, Zanzibar and Oman beautiful places, hotels, food etc. But before we go to other fantastic must see destinations, I would like to deviate a bit to another kind of experience that is as adventurous as the above with more than the regular kind of fun.

This kind of leisure will ensure you loss some extra pounds and it is so engaging there is no dull moment as you will be very involved in all you are doing.
I am talking about the ‘SAFARI’ yes the ‘SAFARI’ we have so many of them in Africa and before all these animals are extinct why not plan an expedition with some friends or your family and educate yourselves on wildlife and Africa.

SAFARI means an expedition to observe or hunt animals in their natural habitat, especially in East Africa. Though Kenya and Tanzania are the most popular options, other places are rapidly emerging as new safari destinations. With more National parks available for preserving animal species there is a pull of tourists to these destinations.

There are exciting safari options from sailboats in ever blue pristine clear waters, to private helicopter rides and drives through game reserves what other way can one bond with Mother Nature. Escaping from the hustle and bustle of daily life can be so refreshing, coming in contact with nature at its purest unadulterated form is rejuvenating.

These are a few of the Safari’s Africa can boast of:-
• Etosha National Park – Namibia
• Masai Mara National Reserve - Kenya
• Kruger National Park – South Africa
• Zambezi Valley - Zambia
• Zambezi Valley – Tanzania

Let’s come home to Naija and spot some of these safari’s that can be easily reached and are pocket friendly.
